Welcome to TurnbuckleZine.

Feel free to check out the tabs above for info about me, my more in depth thoughts and opinions that I have written on this site, and my tribute to two of my favorite professional wrestling icons

FYI

A zine is most commonly a small circulation publication of original or appropriated texts and images.

More broadly, the term encompasses any self-published work of minority interest.

The Intercontinental Podcast

Feel free to check out my pocast with my friend Brayton. He lives in Illinois, USA, I live in the Czech Republic. We have created the world's only trans-continental wrestling podcast.

The argument that

"wrestling isn't real"

is so obtuse, so dull to the point at hand, so willfully ignorant of the concept of reality.

What's so real about any game?
What is real in any way about putting men in bizarre clothes, giving them an oblong ball, and asking them to run it across a line for 60 minutes?

Worse yet, what's real about paying them millions of dollars to do it?

My literal reaction was, “I want video of this that repeats forever… .. I guess otherwise known as a gif!!…”

turnbuckles:

Wrestler of the Day, Dolph Ziggler.
I’ve yet to do a current mainstream star this week, so who better than the WWE’s resident show-off, Mr. Money In The Bank and YOUR next WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, Dolph Ziggler!
Tried something new with this pose, because I liked it so much, I’m not sure if it turned out the greatest but I’m still glad I did it!
Glad so many people enjoyed my little Halloween piece, I hope to do more like that for upcoming holidays.
See everybody tomorrow!

I started following this a few days ago and it’s legit worth the follow.  Fantastic content.

Mr. McMahon names Booker T the new SmackDown General Manager

internationalobject:

Makes all the sense in the world.

Mostly what I like about this is (unless this has happened sometime before and I missed it), this is WWE publicly acknowledging the inherent “spoilers” the come with a pre-taped Tuesday, air on Friday show.

“To find out how this all played out, don’t miss SmackDown on Syfy, Friday night at 8/7 CT.”

Smart.
